Dwight O. Parris, age 78, of Smyrna, passed away May 8, 2017. A funeral service was held in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna. Interment was in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Parris was preceded in death by his daughter Sheila Davenport, son Randall Parris and seven brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Sarah Nell Parris of Smyrna, sons Chris (Angela) Parris of Canton, Ricky Dwight Parris of Smyrna, sister Judy Hunnicutt of Rockmart, grandchildren Michael, David and Ryan Davenport, Joshua and Jacob Parris, Timothy, Christopher and Michael Lively, Nicky, Steven, Byron and Lacy Tice, Amber Parris, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
