MAYFIELD, Ky. - Opal May Arnett, 81, of Mills Manor Nursing Home, died at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday at the nursing home.
Mrs. Arnett was a retired employee of Merit Clothing Co., and was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Billie Arnett and Lonnie B. Arnett, both of Mayfield, and James L. Arnett of Benton; three daughters, Ethel Lou Haley and Linda Sue Smith, both of Mayfield, and Polly Kaler of Hickory; a stepbrother, Benjamin Angel of Salina, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 13 . step great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Her husband, Bert Arnett, four brothers, three sisters and a grandchild, preceded her in death.
Her parents were Edward and Rhoda Ann Bean Bouland. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Byrn Funeral Home. W.W. Hall and the Revs.
James Miller and Jerry Riney will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
