Eric was born July 19, 1960, in Orofino, to Oliver and Colleen (Lupe) Jackson. He died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, in Lewiston.

Eric was a lifelong resident of the Clearwater River area. He was an avid outdoorsman and was a great hunter, fisherman, sawyer and trailblazer for the U.S. Forest Service.
