Betty F. Biffle, age 82, of Lithonia, died May 5, 2017. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Some of her favorite past times were clogging, watching games shows on television, flowers, and listening to bluegrass and gospel music. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Pearl Harris; sisters, Annie Perry and Doris Mayo; brothers, Howard Harris, Herman Harris, Marvin Harris, James Harris, Lawson Harris and Junior Harris. Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Homer Biffle; daughter, Lynn Klein and her husband, Denny, of Monroe; sons, Lamar Biffle and his wife, Carol, of Stockbridge, and Michael Biffle and his wife, Rebecca, of McDonough; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o’clock, Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Bethel Baptist Church with Brother Bob Howard officiating. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3 – 6 Saturday afternoon at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
