Mrs. Adair died Feb. 10, 2007, in a local nursing home.
She was born Nov. 16, 1930, in Royse City to the late William Andrew and Trudie Onie Smith Tate. She was a business woman, art teacher and newspaper columnist. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Emory. She was preceded in death by her husband; grandchild, Hapi Floyd Worley; and brother, Willie Adren Tate.
Survivors include daughter, Wanda Sue Worley, Emory; son, George Louis Adair, Yantis; bother, George Ferris Tate, Greenville; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one nephew, and four nieces.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
