Ernest E Allgood, 52, former city light department employee, died at a local Idaho Falls Hospital following a lingering illness. He worked for the City from 1951 until a short time ago, when ill health forced him to resign.
He was born at Wilford, May 16, 1902, a son of William and Emma Birch Allgood. He married Neva Harris November 24, 1926, at Wilford and they lived in Teton City. In 1951 he moved to Idaho Falls and married Alberta Boam Yager in October of that year.
Besides his widow, he is survived by two sons and two daughters: Mrs. Marva Lee Tucker, Dorthetta Jean, Harris and Buddy K. Allgood, all of Teton City, four Grandchildren, and brothers and sisters: William Allgood of Rigby, Mrs. Pearl Shelton, Mrs. Millie Clark, Arthur Allgood, Mrs. Elsie Thornton and Alvin Allgood, all of Idaho Falls.
