William David Price died on February 2, 2007 of natural causes at Sunrise Assisted Living in Springfield, VA. Former Chairman of the Air Reserve Forces Policy Committee and the Deputy Assistant to the Chief of the Air Force Reserves at USAF Headquarters. A former instructor of engineering design, analytical mechanics and geometry at Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI). Former Director of the Tennessee State Planning Commission and former Executive with Shell Oil Corporation and was a member of the Board of Governorts of the Army Navy Club of Washington. After his retirement from Shell, General Price was appointed to the Professional Investigative Staff of the House Armed Services Committee and served as an active member of numerous defense oriented organizations.

Surviving are his children, Christina Price of Annandale, David Price, Jr. of Sterling and George Price of Arlington; three grandchildren, a great grand daughter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Monday, February 12, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Demaine Springfield-Annandale Chapel, 5308 Backlick Rd (at Edsall Rd) Springfield, VA 22151. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Arlington National Cemetery
