David Bryan Creel, age 42, of Edmond, Okla., was born December 4, 1966 in Seminole, Okla. to Jerry Lee and Linda Colleen Creel.

David was a graduate of Memorial High School where he wrestled and played football and was active in the FFA. He went on to graduate from Langston University Physical Therapy School. David went to work for Saint Anthony Spine Center, where he was the lead Therapist. He opened his own practice, Orthopedic and Spine Rehab which he ran successfully for the past 10 years. David was also a very successful horseman. His family bred and raised Paint and Pinto horses. He was president of Central Oklahoma Pinto Club, and a very active member of the American Pinto Horse Association.

David passed away on September 28, 2009 in Edmond. He is preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his wife and children, Michelle, Michela and Bryan of the home; sister and her family, Dawn, Cliff Thurman, Jessica and Tyler and Chelsea, Trey, Emily, Travis and Kaylia, and many loving and wonderful family and friends that God has blessed his family with.

The family wants to thank the doctors and nurses at Mercy Hospital and Mercy Hospice for taking such wonderful care of David.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Thursday at Waterloo Road Baptist Church with interment at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
