Mr. Ambrogio retired in 1985 from Stroh's Brewery. He was a member of VFW Bruce Post 1146 and was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Dody; children, Teri (Duane) Stytman, Michael (Michele) Ambrogio, Brian (Borjana) Watt, Suzanne Watt, Laure (Ken) Kalisz, Alan (Adrianne) Watt; and grandchildren, Alyssa, Collin, Callie, Michael Joseph, Gina, Haley, Aimee, Brittney, Michael, A.J. and Aidan.
He was predeceased by his brother, John.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 19851 Anita, Harper Woods, with the Rev. Bob Keller officiating. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary recital at the St. Clair Shores Chapel of Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper, St. Clair Shores. Additional visitation is 9:30-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
