Sina "Mamaw" Yonts, daughter of the late Noah and Millie Ann Combs Jent, was born at Redfox, Kentucky, on December 20, 1905. She passed from this life at the Whitesburg Appalachan Regional Health Care on Friday, May 8, 1998, making her stay here on earth 92 years, 4 months and 18 days. Sina was married to Roy Edward Yonts, he preceded her in death on September 10, 1968. Also preceeding her were two sons, Robert Bryan and Harold Lloyd Yonts. Mamaw was a very soft spoken lady that could light up a room with her sweet smile. She loved to work in her flower and vegetable gardens as well as care for her family. Sina is survived by her son William Morgan "Buster" Yonts of Neon, Kentucky; daughter-in-law Daisy Pass Yonts and grand-daughter Sina Louise Yonts of Neon, Kentucky, with whom she has made her home for 30 years; grandsons: Roy (Linda) Yonts of Harrogate, Tennessee; Bug (Wanda) Yonts of Neon, Kentucky; great-granddaughter Tracy (Kevin) Baker of Pineville, Kentucky; great-grandsons: Ernie (Sondra) Yonts of Sergent, Kentucky; Neal and Tommy Yonts of Neon, Kentucky and Chris Yonts of Harrogate, Tennessee; great great-grandchildren Hunter Baker and Sydney Yonts. Also surviving is a loving and caring friend Cheryl Furby and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
