JUNCTION CITY - A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at River Road Baptist Church in Eugene for Snow Irene Pate of Junction City, who died Jan. 27 of age-related causes at age 98.
She was born Feb. 19, 1908, in Provo, Ark., to Gus and Hattie Harder Rush. She married James Pate on Nov. 28, 1928, in Levelland, Texas. He died March 4, 1979.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Melodese Korstad of Eugene; a son, James of Junction City; three sisters, Lou Blair, Dee Meeker and Mary Howard, all of Springfield; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City. Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. Remembrances to the Junction City First Baptist Church Building Fund, in care of the funeral home.
