Anne Taylor Jiles was born in April 16, 1953, in Koizumi, Japan, to Donald Taylor and Youko "Michiko" Okada Taylor. She left us, peacefully, sometime during the overnight hours of April 6-7, 2017.

Annie leaves behind her sisters Sharon Taylor Thomas, and Donna Taylor; daughters Layla Taylor (Haner), Jordana Jiles, and Brenna Watson; and grandchildren Claire Weber, Drew Weber, Cassandra Carosa, and Emory Haner.

Annie spent most of her life trying to find the place she belonged. I think she was as surprised as anyone that Cheney, WA was that place! When she moved back to Cheney, she had the blessing of many, many decades-long friendships, all of which she cherished. Annie also completed her degree, graduating with an AA in Information Systems Management from Tacoma Community College. It took a lot of hard work and determination, but Annie persevered and graduated with honors.

Annie also rediscovered her love for nature and the outdoors, specifically time near the water. She particularly enjoyed tubing on the Coeur d'Alene River, and shard this passion with anyone willing to join!

Places Annie lived and enjoyed: California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Tokyo, Seoul.

Places Annie traveled to: Japen, India, Amsterdam, Mexico, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Maine, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Manhattan, Washington D.C., Virginia.

Annie's Words of Wisdom

I work to "be here now" because usually at any given moment, right now, all is well.

I am so thankful for the skills I possess that result in work whenever I want it.

I am so thankful for You, The Universe, that sustains me, fills me with joy and love and abundance.

I am so thankful for the joy I have discovered within myself.

I am so thankful that I love me, who I've become

I am so thankful that I enjoy my own company, and therefore can enjoy the company of others.

Advice from a Dragonfly

Spend time near the water
Be colorful
Enjoy a good reed
Zoom in on your dreams
Appreciate long summer days
Keep your eyes open
Just Wing it!

Forever In Your Heart

Feel no guilt in laughter
She knows how much you care
Feel no, sorrow in a smile
That she's not here to share
You cannot grieve forever
She would not want you to
She'd hope that you would carry on
The way you always do

So talk about the good times
And the ways you showed you cared
The days you spent together
All the happiness you shared
Let memories surround you
A word someone might say
Will suddenly recapture
A time, an hour, a day
That brings her back as clearly
As though she was still here
And fills you with the feelings
That say she's always near
For if you keep those moments
You will never be apart
And they will live forever
Safely licked within your heart
