John Marion Chandler, 66, of 400 Leighton Ave, died today at 4:15am at Anniston Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3pm at the Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev David Harrell and Maj Louis Mockabee officiating. Burial will be in Coldwater Baptist Cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in Charge.

The body will lie in state at the church for an hour before services.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs Mamie Chandler; one step-son, Leonard Waugh of Anniston; one sister, Mrs Evie Murphy of Anniston; two brothers, William L, of Anniston and Ross Chandler, Anniston, Rt 3; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr Chandler had resided in Anniston for 47 years and was a retired employee of Anniston Cordge Company. He was a veteran of World War I.
