He was born in Indianapolis on February 21, 1946 to Fern and Josephine Sutton Klopfenstein both of whom precede him in death.
Johnnie is survived by his niece: Jasmine Knox; sister-in-law: Mary Knox and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his brother: Melvin Klopfenstein.
Memorial services were held at Newcomer Funeral Home.
A Graveside Funeral Service wwas held at Roundhill Cemetery.
