Edwin Kamber Knowles was the youngest son of Floyd Knowles and Jewel Hitt. He loved his brother Wayne and his sister Billie. He preferred to be called Kamber. He served his country honorably as a PFC in the US Army. He lived many years in Moran, Texas and then followed his older brother Wayne Knowles to Dallas. Kamber was a master carpenter, just like his father and brother. He worked for Wayne as a carpenter foreman. He loved the outdoors, and spent as much time as he could every summer in his boat on a lake like Possum Kingdom or Ray Hubbard, where he could pursue his love of water skiing. Kamber also loved reading, and when he wasn't out water skiing, he was usually home reading a book like The Third Reich. Kamber was handsome and tan and very popular with the ladies, but he chose the life of a bachelor.
