Brayden went to be with our Lord March 6, 2017 at the age of 25, at his residence in Old Fields,W.V., formerly of Petersburg,W.V.
He was the son of Kevin Schell of Cabins,W.V. and Debra Clark-Layton of Old Fields,W.V., step-father John Layton of Petersburg,W.V.
In addition to his parents, Brayden is survived by two brothers, Cody Layton of Fairmont,W.V. and Casey Layton of Morgantown,W.V.
Memorial services were held at the Basagic Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Bergdoll officiating.
Brayden was laid to rest at the Maysville Cemetery, Maysville,W.V.

Brayden attended Petersburg and Moorefield High School and he graduated from the W.V. Mountaineer Challenge Academy at Camp Dawson in Kingwood,W.V.
He attended the First Baptist Church in Petersburg and had worked for PSSI.
