Thelma Charlene Singleton, age 80 of Tulsa, passed from this life peacefully Monday, March 27, 2017 at her daughter’s home. Thelma was born on September 29, 1936 in Parma, Idaho to Leonard and Ruby (Wood) Maxey.

The family moved to Tulsa and Thelma graduated from Central High School.

She married Floyd Singleton on October 22, 1955 in Sapulpa. Thelma was a homemaker all her life and a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God in Tulsa.

She is survived by her daughter and husband; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Floyd Singleton and a son; Bryan Singleton.

The family will be having a private remembrance ceremony and Thelma will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
