I met Becky in 2010, we both signed up for the 10 year span Reunion Committee for California High in Whittier. We met at the first meeting and became friends immediately.

She had a beautiful and joyful spirit and I was drawn to her smile and her gentleness. We became good friends, emailing scriptures and having Godly conversations about so many things. I kept all of those emails and will enjoy reading them, they put a big smile on my face.

In 2015, she began chemo and through it all, she never seemed to be down or negative, she knew she could beat this. There were weeks upon weeks of chemo and then one day, less then a month ago, she told me that it didn't work and the doctor told her she has 2 months to live. I thought I was reading her message wrong, but I wasn't.

Three weeks later I heard the news, it felt surreal. I was so sad and heart-broken, but I know where she is. She is up in Heaven with our Heavenly Father, basking in His Glory.

We had grown close spiritually and I am so thankful for that.

She was a teacher for many years and touched so many hearts with her kind and gentle loving heart. And she loved hummingbirds and wanted to be called Grandma Bee, I believe that's how she spelled it.

During her final days, she wanted to spend time with each and every friend and family member, I'm not sure if she was able to do so, she had many. I went to see her and we spent an hour talking and sharing. She had me sign a quilt and put my thumb print on a tree picture and signed my name. I'm happy that I was able to be a part of that.

Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

We had many conversations that evolved from that scripture and I am blessed to have had her in my life.

Becky was married to Art and had a daughter Jackie, and a son Joseph. Becky also had three sisters, Arleen, Cathy and Cindy and a brother Casey. They are all so nice and loving too.

I miss you sweetie but I know that I will see you again in Heaven.

The night before you passed, this song was on my heart and I wanted to send it to you but I didn't know if I should. I wish I had, this is for you My Beautiful Becky!

Just Be Held
