DANNY AUSTIN, SR.
Long-Time Conroe resident, Danny Austin Sr., passed away March 19, 2017 at the age of 64. Danny graduated from Conroe High School in 1973.
He worked for Owen Properties at The Trophy House from 1973 to 1993; when he then purchased and owned it until 2006. He supported all of Conroe with their awards needs and loved the people whom he served. Danny worked for FMC Technologies for a short time and DNOW for 10 years until his death.
He was a kind and gentle man who treated everyone with respect as if he had known them forever.
His most cherished gift was his family. He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Kalynn Austin and two sons, Danny Jr. and Ryan (Courtney). He leaves 4 grandchildren, Mason, Tyler, Paisley, and Memphis who he dearly loved with all of his heart. He also leaves his brother Buster Austin and wife Edith.
Danny is preceded in death by his father George Russell Austin; mother Katie Marie Austin, brothers Harrell Gray Austin (Carolyn) and Randy Austin (Brenda). He is also survived by several other family members whom he loved, talked about often, and who made his life complete.
Services for Danny will be at McNutt Funeral Home, 1703 Porter Rd, Conroe, Texas on Friday, March 24th at 9am for visitation, and funeral at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Conroe Memorial Park.
