Brother Eddie has been a Deacon at the Victory Methodist Church in Manor for over 20 years. He is truly a man of God and with his wife Mrs. Marie King Petty, they have two beautiful daughters: Mrs. Ginger Petty Mallett (John) of Bluffton, SC and Mrs. Jennifer Petty Sirmans (David) of Nashville ....
Brother Eddie is very supportive of our Youth and King's Kids ministries, the young children at the church are our future..
His favorite BIBLE passage is John 3:16 ...

Mr. Petty served with the 82nd Air Borne Division in the US Army during Korean War time, he was also a member of the Masonic Lodge # 305 and loved the great outdoors …

Born in Ware County in Manor, his parents were the late Ed Petty and Sadie Bell Steedley Petty ; preceded in death also some of
his siblings: Kenny Petty , Norma Jean Smithie and Lena Mae Herrin..

Survivors are : his wife Mrs. Petty,
his two daughters,
two sisters:
Mrs. Reditha Petty Lyda of Vero Beach, Fla. and
Mrs. Delores V. Petty Welch of Mississippi and
a brother: James Mack Petty (Merelene) of Waycross, Ga.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12 at the Victory Methodist Church with the Rev Jim Dirst officiating the service following burial into the church cemetery ....
