Troy - William Anthony Greene, 68, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017, at FirstHealth Reid Heart Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Star House of Praise with the Rev. Timothy Wolfe and Rev. Matthew Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Mr. Greene was born in Montgomery County to Bill Lee and Frances Evans Greene. He was a retired barber and was a veteran of the US Army, where he served during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Singleton Greene, of the home; daughters, Lisa Greene Wood (Chris) of Troy, Amy Greene Clonaris (Brian) of Raleigh; mother, Frances Evans Greene of Troy; step-sons, Ray Morgan (Heather) of Star, Craig Morgan (Jessica) of Troy; brother, Darrell Lee Greene (Dianne) of Kernersville; sister, Teresa Greene Furr (Nelson) of Candor; grandchildren, Jayde Chisholm, Lillian Wood, William Clonaris, Kirstie Morgan, Alisha Morgan, Russell Morgan, Lori Morgan, Brennan Morgan, Garret Morgan, and Eli Morgan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Relay for Life, Montgomery County, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28207.
