"Rose Elizabeth Limes"

"Former Washington CH resident, rose Elizabeth Limes, 84, of 109 Safley Court, Tullahoma, tenn., died Saturday, March 6, 1993 at 8 p.m. at the Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala. where she had been a patient since February 9.

She had been seriously ill since January 2. Mrs. Limes was born December 22, 1908 in Sabina to Lewis and Mary Winona Harris Whinery. She moved to Washington C. H. in 1940 and resided there until moving to Tullahoma in July, 1987.

She was a 1926 graduate of Sabina High School and a 1930 graduate of the Ohio Wesleyan University. She formerly taught French and English at Greenfield McClain and Washington Senior High Schools.

Mrs. Limes was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Washington C. H. and its True Blue Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Fayette County retired Teachers Association; Phi Beta Psi Sorority; the Washington C. H. Cecilians Club; Mother's Club and the Washington Country Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William H. Limes in 1987.

Mrs. Limes is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jane and Donald Ousley of West Carrollton, and Carolyn and Kirk Niemiller of Tullahoma. Also surviving are five grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 1993 at 2p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with the Reverend Benjamin T. Edwards, pastor of the Grace United Methodist church officiating. Burial will follow in the Sabina Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service."
