An easy guy to like. I met Keith down in Lake City, Florida back in August of 1967. We both were enrolled in the Forestry School at Lake City Junior College. Keith was liked by everyone. I never heard him say anything nasty or cruel to anyone. My memory of him for the past 35 years has been of a good decent human being. I was sad when I heard he had been killed in Vietnam. Theodore Kulze, 103 6th St, Ten Sleep, WY, 82442.

I grew up in the small town of Maggie Valley, NC. PFC Mehaffey's picture hung in memorial on the wall of the fellowship hall at my church. I can remember thinking how awesome he looked in his dress blue uniform with his white cover. I went on to proudly serve six years in the U.S. Marine Corps. A few years ago, I realized the influence of seeing him there and how much as a child I wanted to be that proud. I have been to the Vietnam Memorial in D.C. and found his name there. It was quite an experience, and I thank him and everyone for his service and influence. Godspeed. Scott Richardson, Newton, NC. 28658.

Served Proudly with him in Vietnam. Marine Friend, Keith and I served in the same platoon in Vietnam. He is a Great Marine! SEMPER FI! Patrick Fogerty, St Louis Mo 63128, [email protected].
