Marion S. Rison, 79, of Independence, died Tuesday at Woodcrest Manor, Florence. He was a retired master plumber and owner of Rison Plumbing Co., a member of First Baptist Church of Covington, Colonel Clay Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite, and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy H. Rison; a daughter, Faye Rison Britsch of Bridgewater, N.J.; a son, Dr. Allan T. Rison of Covington; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence.

Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
