Junith Buren Cooper, age 95, of Fouke, Arkansas, died Friday, March 10, 2017. He was born June 6, 1921, in Fouke, Arkansas and had lived most of his life in Fouke.

He was a member of Rocky Mound Baptist Church and was retired from the Atomic Energy Commission and FCI. He was a member of the Sydney Masonic Lodge and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Tennie Williams Cooper, one son, Jimmy Buren Cooper and his son-in-law, David Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Terry Cooper of Fouke, Arkansas, one son and daughter-in-law, John and Sandy Cooper of Monroe, Louisiana, one daughter, Janey Jones of Geneva, Ohio, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A. M. Monday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Deryl Jones and Rev. James Hensley officiating. Burial with Masonic and Military Rites will be at Rocky Mound Cemetery in Fouke.
