Elizabeth Pearl Crawford Stover
July 16, 1934 - March 6, 2017

Our beloved Elizabeth Pearl Crawford Stover, 82, of Roanoke, left this earth Monday, March 6, 2017 to devote herself to the Lord’s children in Heaven. She enjoyed over 25 years of service with General Electric in Salem, eventually retiring to be surrounded by family and friends.

Liz was a native of New Castle, loved bluegrass music and flatfoot dancing and most of all, living her life in devotion to her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lamah A. Crawford and Allie Pearl Crawford and survived by sisters, Shirley Coffey (Philip) and Naomi Williams (Sam); brother, Leo Crawford; daughter, Vickie Stover; son, Vince Stover (Julia); five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice for the loving care of Liz.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel with Rev. Neal Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.oakeys.com.
