"Funeral services for VERLENER HINES, 78, of the Lodi community, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Lodi. The Rev. Robert T. Shadell will officiate, and burial will be in Whitaker Cemetery under direction of Atlanta Funeral Home. Mrs. Hines died Sunday, October 26, 1986, in Atlanta Memorial Hospital. She was born July 8, 1908, in Lodi. She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and a member of Fisher Court No. 513. She is survived by her husband, Pink Hines Jr., of Lodi; three daughters, Lula B. Rainey, of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Maggie Love and Pauline Bell, both of Lodi; three sons, Howard Hines Sr., W.M. Hines and Harvest L. Hines, all of Lodi; three sisters, Emma Riley, of Lodi, and Augusta Taylor and Laura Dodd, both of Wasco, California; seven brothers, Will Williams, Johnny Williams, and Herbert Williams, all of Dallas, Clinton Williams, of Marshall, Frank Williams, of St. Louis, Missouri, Harvest Williams, of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Pete Williams, of Chicago, Illinois; 38 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren."
