He was an amazing man, who treated his daughter's friends just like his own. He had the driest sense of humor of anyone I've ever known. He raised four great kids. He is missed, so terribly much.
--------
Braden gained his angel wings at 10:37 pm on February 27, 2017 at the age of 66. He was born to John Sr. and Gladys on October 24th,1950 in Seguin, Texas. After graduation he joined Texas Army National Guard and proudly retired with the 4th Battalion 133 FA in 1998. He married Lila (Jody) Myers after meeting on a blind date in 1972. During their 45 years together they had 4 children, Tiffany, Charles (Dawn), Branden (KC Kibler) and Ty (Christa) as well as "The 6 Pack" his 6 granddaughters. (Shyann, Jocelyn, Makayla, Dally, Baylee, and Harley). He is also survived by his brother, Ronald Dreibrodt and nephews, Rodney and Ryan (Shanna) and their children. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Jr; sister, Lois; son-in-law Kerry Mayberry, and many other family members.
During his life he attended many military schools earning many awards. He missed many birthdays having to go to summer camps but always made up for them when he returned. Meeting many outstanding friends along the way. He enjoyed helping the boys in many 4-H events and many FFA projects. After many years in ranching he decided to give the oil field a try and enjoyed that as well. He met wonderful kids (In his own words) in his short time in the patch. Retiring in November 2016. He was a HUGE Green Bay Packers and San Antonio Spurs Fan. He was a very hard working man and was willing to give "the shirt off his back". He will be missed by all who knew him. He was one "AMAZING OLD MAN!"
