THREE BROTHERS BREAK THROUGH ICE AND DROWN

Three young men, brothers, were drowned at 7 o’clock Saturday night when a four-passenger automobile in which they were crossing the frozen surface of the James river crashed through the ice and sank to the bottom, 30 fee below.
The drowned: Jarless Barnett, 24 years old. Vernon Gibson Barnett, 23 years old. Rowland Barnett, 26 years old.
Their homes was at Barnett, Charles City county, where they were bound when they met their death. Vernon Barnett was stationed at Camp Lee and was married.
