He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps until his honorable discharge in 1962 when he married his high school sweetheart Marie Angelillo. He was also a member of Carpenters Union Local 265.
A family man in the truest sense of the word, his greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones. His sense of humor and wit could bring an entire room to tears with laughter. He was a great father, who always told us to follow our dreams, encouraged us in everything we did, and supported our decisions even if he disagreed. He was also an amazing father figure to many who didn’t have one first hand. He excepted all who entered his home and sat at his table with his welcoming smile, a listening ear and warm words of wisdom. He will be missed deeply by all but heaven has gained a guardian angel.
