Norma J. Buchheim, age 85, of Maryville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Rosewood Nursing Home, Edwardsville, IL.
Norma was born on September 10, 1931 in Granite City, IL, a daughter of the late Milfred Robbers and Melba (Musick) Robbers.
Norma had worked for Central Baptist Children and Family Services as a case worker for many years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, whom she adored. Norma loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Buchheim and by one son, Bradley Buchheim.
She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Cindy Buchheim of Maryville, IL; proud grandmother to Meagan (Austin) Martin of Edwardsville, IL, Joseph Buchheim of Collinsville, IL and Jordan Buchheim of Maryville, IL; proud great-grandmother to Kyliee Buchheim, Jude Martin and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road, Glen Carbon, IL.
In celebration of her life, a private family graveside service will be held at Buck Road Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL. Interment will follow at the cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Revive Assembly of God Church, Collinsville, IL or to the charity of the donor's choice.
