Cecil Lee Webber, age 95, of Harrison County, Kentucky, died Friday, October 5, 2012, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana.

He was born on May 23, 1917, a son of the late William and Minnie Mae Clayton Webber. On January 11, 1947, he married Georgina Cloe, and she preceded him in death on September 29, 1999. He was a member of Colemansville Christian Church, a farmer and a former Harrison County bus driver. He retired from the Ladish Company and loved music, dancing and telling stories.

Survivors include: three daughters, Judy Webber, of Lexington, Kentucky, Janet Webber, of Harrison County, and Connie Webber, of Harrison County; six grandchildren, Gina Franklin, of Frankfort, Kentucky, John (Jeannette) Franklin, of Frankfort, Kevin Franklin, of Lexington, and Alexis Webber, Jennifer Webber and Josh (Ashley) Muntz, all of Harrison County; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, Georgina, he was preceded in death by: a daughter, Joyce Collier; a son, Cecil Thomas Webber; six brothers; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 9, at Antioch Mills Christian Church, in Harrison County. Burial followed in Pythian Grove Cemetery. Woodhead Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers for the service were John Franklin, Kevin Franklin, Josh Muntz, James Allen Cloe, Randal Cloe, David Faulkner, Wayne Smith and Ernie Barnes. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Cooper, Floyd Barnes, Gordon Smith, Ed Wiggins, and Paul Cunningham.

Memorial contributions are suggested to: Antioch Mills Christian Church, 12785 KY Highway 27 S, Berry, KY 41003; Harrison County Adult Day Care, 217 Old Lair Road, Cynthiana, KY 41031; or a charity of choice.
