On Monday, March 11, 2002, Eugene Edgar Francis Anness passed away suddenly at the age of 66. Eugene Anness was born on November 28, 1935, in Devlin Township, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Eugene is survived by his mother, Irene Dorosh, sister Ethel Morency, brothers, Fred, Glen, Rodney and their families, son Victor and daughters Susan and Tara. Eugene was predeceased by his father, Frank Anness in 1990, and son Earl John Anness in 1996. Many other relatives survive Eugene Anness. Eugene spent many years working as a self- employed person at E. E. Anness Contracting in the Township of Neebing.Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. in The Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street (at James), Thunder Bay. Pastor Kenneth Ostler from the Living Water Christian Community Church, Thunder Bay, will be officiating. Interment will take place in the family plot at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Thunder Bay, At a later date.Friends so wishing may make donations to Thunder Bay Shelter House, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to Living Water Christian Communoty Church, would be greatly appreciated."
