In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Arthur Limus ''BO'' Acker, III, age 62, of 305 Cherry Street, Anderson, SC on Thursday evening, February 2nd, 2017. The family is at 3 Walker Street, Honea Path, SC 29654.
Arthur was born October 15th, 1954 to Hazel S. Acker and to the late Arthur Limus Acker II in Anderson, SC.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his siblings: Velma Acker, Sandra Acker and Frank Acker.
Arthur is survived by his mother, Hazel Acker of Anderson, SC; children: John Osborne, Jr., Kevin Osborne, Delshawn Prescott, Dominique Prescott, Erica Zigler (Tyrone) , Tarsha Osborne, Vanessa Haggins (Aaron) , Towanda Prescott, Keisha Prescott, and Crystal Prescott; siblings: Anna Young, Edward Acker, Mark Acker, Ricky Acker and Wuan Acker; a special friend, Marilyn Dean; and a host of other realtives and friends.
Viewing location for Mr. Acker will be at the Unity Mortuary of Williamston.
Viewing date and time will be Friday, February 10th, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary (Williamston).
Funeral location will be at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church , 619 Greenville Drive, Williamston, SC 29697.
Funeral date and time will be Saturday, February 11th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
