Donald R. Bresher Sr. 88, of Wade, MS passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 surrounded by his family. Donald was born on February 4, 1929 in Camden, OH to the late Orville and Bessie Bresher. Mr. Bresher Honorably served in the United States Air Force for over 21 years before retirement. He then went to work at Ingalls Shipbuilding and Singing River Hospital. Mr. Bresher loved watching his grandsons play baseball, road trips, good cooking and especially family gatherings. Mr. Bresher was very independent all the way to the end. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Mr. Bresher is preceded in death by his loving wife Gladys Bresher, Parents Orville and Bessie Bresher and Brother Billy Bresher. He is survived by his son Donald (Frances) Bresher, Daughters; Diane (Don) Hudson, Linda (Gerald) Hudson, Michelle (Larry) Fairley, Grandchildren; Latisha (Shannon) Cowart, Andrea(Lee) Wren, Daniel (Jessica) Bresher, Teresa (Eric) Manning, Chris (Christina) Hudson, Tanja (Lamar) Stewart, Heath (Jennifer) Hudson, Kammy (Terry) Goff, Mark (April) Fairley, Misty (Robbie) Waller, Great-Grandchildren; Wyatt Johnson, Dixie Johnson, Preston Fowler, Austin Fowler, Dawson Fowler, Eli Bresher, Ramzie Schiewe, Michael Schiewe, Josh Avila, Breah Vice, Baleigh Vice, Cole Hudson, Brooklyn Hudson, Ben Hudson, Ryne Cooke, Colton Sherman, Hope Stewart, Kasey Hudson, Tyler Hudson, Madlyn Hudson, Tanner Cumbest, Dez Fairley, Macee Fairley, Shalynn Long, Tate Waller and Tinlee Waller, Great-Great Grandchildren; Rayla Schiewe, Reese Cooke, and Gunter Hudson along with other relative and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Bresher will be Monday, February 13, 2017 from 5pm until 7pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11am at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will immediately follow at Serene Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home, Escatawpa/Moss Point, MS are in charge of arrangements.
