Ellis Richmond, 71, of Miami, died Wednesday in a Charleston hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. Richmond was a retired employee of South Penn Natural Gas Co.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. June R. Hall of Lebanon, Va.; three sons, Howard of Reed City, Mich., Harold at home and Blaine of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Austie Robinson of Cameron; five brothers, Marvin, Fritz and Oak of Pennsylvania, Melford of Ohio and Wilbert of Texas; and eight grandchildren.

The body is at Pryor Funeral Home in East Bank.

RICHMOND, Ellis - Services were to be held today at 2 p.m. in Pryor Funeral Home at East Bank by the Rev. E. W. Turns. Burial will be tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. (DST) in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at Cameron. Mr. Richmond, 71, of Miami, Kanawha County, died Wednesday in a Charleston hospital after a brief illness

Ellis Richmond, 71, of Miami, died Wednesday in a Charleston hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. Richmond was a retired employee of South Penn Natural Gas Co.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. June R.
