Quincy was born on May 30, 1941, to John and Mamie Adams in Alba, Texas. On September 18, 1959, Quincy married the love of his life, Sharon Kirby in Littlefield, Texas.
Survivors include the love of his life, Sharon Adams; their daughters, Carla Romero and husband, Joe; Darla Hunley and husband, Sammy; Sharla Boyd and husband, Dennis; mother-in-law, Alta “Mamaw” Kirby; sister, Mary Lynn Buck; grandchildren, Scooter, Brandon, Doug, Randy, Vic, Shayla, Angelia, and La’cee; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Mamie Adams; siblings, Albert Guy, Bubba, J.D., Kenneth, Wiley, Herman, and June Bug Adams; and Ruth “Sis” Stueart.
