She is preceded in death by her 3 children; Mario, Alejandro & Orlando Aguirre and 3 Brothers: Israel, Eugenio & Juan Manuel Pena.
She is survived by her loving family; Husband; Israel Aguirre of Weslaco, Texas, 5 Children: Alicia (+) Aguirre Ledesma of Weslaco Texas, Israel (Rosa) Aguirre Jr., of Mercedes, Leticia (Joaquin) Robles of Weslaco, Ester (Alejandro) Hernandez of Weslaco, Alfredo Aguirre of Weslaco, 16 Grandchildren, 27 greatgrandchildren, brother; Amador Pena of Alto Bonita, 2 sisters: Englantina Pena Pena of McAllen, Elsie Alva Limas of Weslaco.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 10:00a.m. to 9:00pm. with a service at 7:00p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 26, 2017 for a 2:00p.m. Chapel service with interment to follow at Weslaco City Cemetery in Weslaco Texas. Elida was a beautiful women who loved her family and spending time with them. She is and will forever be loved and missed by those who knew her. Funeral services are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral home of Mercedes Texas.
