Claudine Ellen Waddell, 91 years, of Latham, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017, at her residence in Latham.

Born October 20, 1925 in Phoenix, AZ the daughter of the late Walker & Maurine Vanita (Rose) Hurlburt. She was also preceded in death by her husband Donald Waddell, whom passed on April 9, 1998, and two brothers Donald & Robert Hurlburt.

Claudine was a member of the Smith Chapel Church of Christ in Christina Union, as well as a member of the Les Amies, Alexandria Homemakers, and Beechwood PTA.

She is Survived by her son Roger (Shirley) Waddell of Columbus; three daughters, Linda Waddell of Reynoldsburg, Gail Niemeier of Latham, and Cheryl Waddell of Latham; one brother, Ted E. (Dorothy) Hulburt of California; sister-in-law Winona Crabtree of Reynoldsburg; six grandchildren, Angela (Troy) Capers, Tracey (David) Gwinn, Scott (Jamie) Waddell, Rebecca (Andrew) Salinas, Victoria Niemeier, and Naomi Niemeier; as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 6, 2017, at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with a burial to follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens in Hillsboro.

Friends and Family may call from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at the Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
