Owen C. was born in Potosi, TX. He married Velma Eudora Stevens in 1929. They were blessed with one son: "Bo" Owen Caleb Blankenship, Jr. in 1930, who married Mary Nell Pritchett(1934-2010). Bo's children are Michael Pritch Blankenship and Ruby Sherrie' Blankenship Hull(1954-2010). Sherrie' married Harry Allen Hull (1953-2010). They were blessed with a son, James Hull and a daughter, Elisabeth Hull Meyers. Elisabeth was blessed with several children: Keegan, Sara-Catherine, Ainsley & adopted son, Kai & daughter, Quinn. Owen is buried in Abilene, Elmwood Memorial Park.
