Eddie Lee Adams, 100 years old of Ladonia, passed away in his home on Monday, January 30, 2017.
Eddie was born in Ladonia, Texas, on August 11, 1916, to Annie Bell and Lura Adams, he worked many years as a mechanic and custodian for Fannin ISD. Eddie married the love of his life, Clemiel Elizabeth McFarland Adams in Hugo, Oklahoma, on October 2, 1940 and they enjoyed over 76 wonderful years together.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Clemiel; his children: Michael Adams, Eddie Glen Adams, Ruby Yuen, Debra Adams, Sandra Massey, Charles Adams, Robert Adams and Gerald Adams, twenty four grandchildren: Curtis, Regina, Shelia, Michelle, Lisa, Marcus, Kevin, Jenny, Danyel, Lakeyia, Zachery, Tina, Jerryton, Tywanna, Shareka, Robert II, Sharetta, Kendra, Tyrone, Keith, Sonya, Victor, Tyson, Shaundra, Kai, Michaela and Paul and a host of great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, George Adams and his sister, Ruby Inez Simmons and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Donald Ray Adams.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February, 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Chapel with Rev. M.D. Massey officiating.
Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, in Ladonia
Pallbearers will be Eddies sons and son-in-law
Honorary pallbearers will be Eddies grandsons and his nephew John Noble.
