YORKERS IN DOUBLE WEDDING AT T0WSON
(Special to Dispatch)

BALTIMORE. Feb. 1. - Two York couples are returning home today, unexpectedly the principals at a double wedding yesterday at Towson, county seat of Baltimore county (sic). One of the couples is Samuel H. Abramson and Pauline Lauer. The other is Paul W. Lightner and Margie H. Hershey.

Both couples went to York separately. They met in Baltimore accidentally. Lightner first saw Abramson and asked what he was doing here. That caused Miss Lauer, Abramson's companion, to blush and Abramson admitted he was "sort of looking for a preacher" for a well known purpose.

Solemnly. Lightner congratulated the couple and then confessed that he had come to Baltimore for the same purpose. He Introduced Miss Hershey as his co-conspirator. They were on their way to Towson for the license, they said, and proposed that the other couple come along to make it a double wedding. So all journey out to the courthouse, where two licenses were obtained. The couples were married by the Rev. Harry B. Lee, Jr., at Trinity Protestant Episcopal church (sic).
