A native of Sussex County, she had taught school in Prince George and Sussex Counties. She was a daughter of the late J. W. and Minnie Prince Neaves, and a member of the Sappony Baptist Church of Sussex County.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son. William B. Lloyd Jr., of Minneapolis, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. C. W. Tune of South Boston; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of J. T. Morriss and Son. The Rev. George Sturch, pastor of Sappony Baptist Church, and the Rev. J. Reardon McKenney, pastor of Fort Grove Methodist Church, will officiate and interment will be in the Neaves family cemetery near Stony Creek.
