Alonzo Prince Neaves, 60, Sussex County farmer, died last night at 11:45 o’clock at his home, the residence of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Lloyd, Stony Creek, after a long illness.

Mr. Neaves was a native and lifelong resident of Sussex County and the son of John William Neaves and Minnie Prince Neaves. Besides his sister, Mrs. Lloyd, a sister, Mrs. C. W. Tune, of South Boston, survives: also two nieces Mrs. H. A. Owen, of Greensboro, N. C. and Miss Frances Prince Tune, of South Boston, and a nephew, Staff Sargent William B. Lloyd Jr., of Langley Air Base, and several great nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the residence, The Rev. Paul Mattox, pastor of Sappony Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family burying ground near the residence.
