Funeral services for J. W. Neaves, superintendent of the Sunday school and deacon in Sappony Baptist Church, who died yesterday, were held at the church today. Mr. Neaves was 76 years old. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. S. G. Harwood, pastor of Victoria Baptist Church and the Rev. Frank Burruss, of Stony Creek Methodist Church. The Stony Creek quarter, composed of Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Prince, Mrs. Cecil Williams, and G. P. Duane, sang.

Two daughters and a son survive Mr. Neaves. They are Mrs. W. B. Lloyd and Miss Orion Neaves and A. P. Neaves. Two grandchildren, Miss Marie Neaves Crowder and William Brantley Lloyd Jr., also survive.

Pall bearers were: Active- Dr. W. D. Prince, Dr. Wright Clarkson, Dr. V. A. Thornton, Embra Hardaway, G. A. Brown, J. H. Lewis, Milton Tyrus and B L. Boisseau; Honorary- Dr. J. F. Slade, J. L. Mr. Neaves had been Sunday school Superintendent for thirty-five years and was well known in the community.

Funeral services for J. W. Neaves, superintendent of the Sunday school and deacon in Sappony Baptist Church, who died yesterday, were held at the church today. Mr. Neaves was 76 years old.
