Noah was the son of James DeKalb and Elizabeth Gallaway Huggins. He was on the census for Layefette Co., AR in 1860. Age 1.

He married William Cornelia Vaughn on 10 Oct 1878 in Arkansas. They raised eight children and lost two little boys at a young age.

In the picture the two smallest children is probably grandchildren? Catherine Eda Taylor Vaughn is also in the picture. She was the mother of Granny Willie.

In Dec.1995 we visited the Friendship Cemetery and the two stobs and the stone laying between them is still in place. That is the site where Noah and Willie is thought to be buried. Walking into the cemetery, go to the left and along the fence about halfway toward the back in the cemetery. (We placed funeral home markers set in concrete at their grave site in 2005).

N. L. Huggins was a Justice of the Piece in 1899 in Lucky, Arkansas. He was a farmer.
