A little bundle of joy and happiness came into this world on August 4 1939 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia and only remained with us until August 5, 1939.
And as the white morning glory whose time is short to bloom and impart beauty to this world, so then was the lot of this little spirit and as the morning glory that withers and dies in one day. This young one was not spared but, in her departure, she left the sweet incense of a beautiful life for her parents to cherish.
Until at the resurrection when this little flower shall come forth to add beauty, grace and the sweet fragrance of joy and happiness on the other side of forever. Amen.
The parents of Baby Mahaffey are Benjamin Dorsey Mahaffey, a native of Georgia and Annie Mae Stepp Mahaffey who also is a native of Georgia. Baby Mahaffey's maternal grandparents are Charlie McKinley Stepp and Ora Morris Hudson Stepp both of whom are from the mountains of north Georgia.
