Jasmine G. Fields, 17, of Pontiac died Sunday (March 16, 2003) at 1300 E. 2000 N Road in an automobile accident.

Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac, the Rev. Tim Moats officiating. Burial will be in Houder Cemetery, rural Pontiac. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family of Jasmine G. Fields - Bank of Pontiac.

She was born June 15, 1985, in Normal, a daughter of Bridget Blankenbeckler.

Surviving are her mother; grandmother, Beverly Tullos Pettigrew; brother, Jeramie Fields, Pontiac; five aunts, Sandy (Jeff) Watters, Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; Billie Butler, Pontiac; Lynn Shanahan, Pontiac; Robin (Johnny) Cunningham, Streator; and Penny Spaniol Fellers, Cornell; one uncle, James (Amber) Blankenbeckler, Pontiac; and 10 cousins, Trenton Watters, Fuquay-Varina; Tiffany Blankenbeckler, Pontiac; Meaghan Shanahan, Sellersburg, Ind.; Felicia Cunningham, Streator; Brian Knack, Flanagan; Blake, Hannah and MaKenzie Blankenbeckler from Pontiac; and Emmy Lou and Trevor McIntire of Cornell.

A sister, Jessica, and her grandfather, Bill Blankenbeckler, preceded her in death.

She had worked for the Pontiac Kmart for the past two years. She was a junior at Pontiac High School where she was a member of chorus.

She loved volleyball, being sassy, little children and all her girl friends
