Mrs. Mildred Urquahart Boland, 86, wife of the late Raymond B. Boland, entered into rest Sunday, May 4, 2003, at University Hospital.
Mrs. Boland was born in Brooksville, Fla. and had lived in North Augusta, S.C., for 45 years before moving to Waynesboro five years ago. She was formerly a member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta, Sheffield Club and the Glady Jones Sunday School Class. Mrs. Boland was a member of McBean Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Donnie Rae Limato and Jo Ann Yarrington; and a foster son, Tommy Lowe. Survivors include three sons, Allen Boland of Waynesboro, Ret. Col. Thomas Boland of Florence, S.C. and the Rev. Bill Boland of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Jeanne (Becky) Calderone of Sarasota, Fla.; four sisters, Eva Powell of Columbus, Bessie Hicks of Callahan, Fla., Margie Wilson of North Augusta and Viola Boland of Prince Frederick, Md.; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were the deacons of McBean Baptist Church.
