William Ermun “Bill” Clifford, 44 of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Monday December 26, 2016 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth. He was born April 11, 1972 in West Union, Ohio, son of the late Lester Doc Clifford and Shirley Osman Clifford. On March 14, 1992 Bill was united in marriage to Kathy Darlene Crabtree Clifford who survives. Also surviving is a son, Dwayne Hiles of Portsmouth; a daughter, Breanna Phipps; two grandchildren, Levi and Damien Hiles, four brothers, Charlie Clifford and wife Marla of Youngs, Ohio, Gary Clifford and Amanda Beavers of Piketon, Ohio, Michael Clifford and Crystal of McDermott, Ohio, and Josh Clifford of Portsmouth; three sisters, Teresa Clifford and Frankie Biggs of Lucasville, Ohio, Deanna Clay and husband David of Lucasville, and Loretta Clifford of Lucasville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bill was a truck driver for Rumpke and a member of the Moose Lodge in Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday December 30, 2016 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway, Ohio with Terry and Chester Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in East Liberty Cemetery at Lynx, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Bill was a truck driver for Rumpke and a member of the Moose Lodge in Portsmouth.
